Introduction

The Croydon Safeguarding Children Partnership (CSCP) is committed to delivering high quality, targeted multi agency safeguarding training for professionals working with children, young people and families in Croydon.

Our training programme is designed to:

  • Strengthen professional confidence

  • Enhance multi agency practice

  • Improve safeguarding decision making

  • Promote consistency in safeguarding standards across agencies

1.4 Selecting the correct organisation

  • The CSCP training platform is funded by the Croydon Safeguarding Children Partnership and includes access for both partner and non-partner organisations. Selecting the correct organisation type during registration is essential because it determines eligibility for free or discounted training. Incorrect organisation selection may lead to reassigning accounts, temporary suspension, incorrect charging or delays in issuing certificates.

  • Non-partner organisations incur a booking fee that contributes to maintaining the quality of the programme, covering trainer expertise, platform development and administration.

  • Learners must check with their manager or training coordinator before selecting an organisation type.
