Strengthening Sustainability and Access

About the Training Platform

The Croydon Safeguarding Children Partnership (CSCP) provides a comprehensive multi-agency training programme to strengthen safeguarding practice across Croydon. The platform is funded and managed by the CSCP, operating independently of the Local Authority, to ensure consistent standards of learning across the children’s workforce.

Access is extended to partner organisations and professionals involved in safeguarding. However, some courses are chargeable to ensure the programme remains sustainable and continues to provide high-quality, evidence-based learning opportunities.

1. Why Fees Are Charged for Training

Fees contribute towards:

  • Trainer and facilitator costs

  • Platform maintenance and technical support

  • Administrative coordination and learner support

  • Continuous development of training materials and resources

This ensures the CSCP can deliver a high standard of safeguarding training, accessible to a wide range of professionals who work with or support children and families. Selecting the incorrect organisation category during registration may result in account suspension or reassignment. If you are unsure, please check with your manager or training coordinator before completing your registration.
