The Croydon Safeguarding Children Partnership (CSCP) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including those with disabilities. We strive to make our website as accessible and user-friendly as possible, in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

This website is run by the Croydon Safeguarding Children Partnership. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, this means you should be able to:

• Navigate most of the website using a keyboard

• Zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen

• Use a screen reader to understand key content

• Access content across a range of screen sizes and devices

How accessible this website is

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

• Some content does not resize correctly on smaller screens or when zoomed beyond 150%

• Certain elements have low contrast, which may make it difficult to read for some users

• The focus indicator is not always clearly visible when navigating via keyboard

• Some layout features are not fully responsive and can lead to overlapping content

 

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed above.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility

We are actively working to fix the above issues where possible within the capabilities of the Wix platform. We are regularly testing the website using both the Accessibility Wizard and external tools and will update this statement as improvements are made.

Disproportionate burden

Some accessibility improvements may require redevelopment outside of our current budget and platform constraints. These include certain structural or layout limitations inherent to the Wix platform. We believe resolving these would be a disproportionate burden at this time, but we are keeping this under regular review.
